Blogging via the free WIFI of Bangalore International Airport.
Almost driven by an obsessive compulsive disorder, the first thing I did was to log into the GE VPN. A tad slow, but ah-the-relief-of-knowing-that-my-little-world-is-doing-fine is immeasurable, especially since I last checked up my inbox was almost two and a half hours ago.
Humor apart, the one thing […]

Karnataka Elections
May 30th, 2008 · No Comments
The results have been out for a few days and I am not blogging about stale stuff.
I have found over the last few months that NGOs and corporate citizens have been active about the elections — from Election Watch to helping people get voters ID card. In that sense, Bangalore is quite “progressive” compared to […]
Bangalore and Camps Without Bars
April 21st, 2008 · 12 Comments
Arpit Agarwal brought my attention to a blog post by Vijay Anand on how we got the Barcamp format totally wrong. Here’s a counterpost. Not a counterpost to disagree vehemently or reject with what Vijay states (actually a part of me agrees in perfect harmony to some of the things he says), but merely to politely offer an alternate […]

Who are we fighting against ?
March 9th, 2008 · 5 Comments

Advertising has these people chasing cars and clothes they don’t need. Generations have been working in jobs they hate, just so they can buy what […]

Swanthana
March 5th, 2008 · No Comments

Our team […]

Live At BrewHaha
February 22nd, 2008 · 2 Comments
The Valentine’s Day gig at BrewHaha was well received. Here’s a video of “Can’t Live Without Rainbows”, an original composition that I had written and set tune to.
I personally thought this came out best, whilst other people opined that “Wonderful Tonight” (video below) was the “song of the night”.

Ashish and Kamayani
January 21st, 2008 · No Comments
Ashish told me that Kamayani and he are moving to Bihar to work fulltime on social/economic issues. This couple never ceases to amaze me. They left their luxurious life in the USA and returned back to India to enable Kamayani to pursue social activism. Even in the USA, I remember these two people participate at the […]

Listening to Santana
December 23rd, 2007 · No Comments
Its 1:58 AM. Still could not get my wireless card (Dell D620, Broadcom BCM94311MCG) to work with the new 2.6.24-rc5 kernel. But could get my speakers working with the freshly compiled ALSA driver from Intel. Ah ! Santana’s Europa never sounded so sweet !
Yesterday we went to Nanking, a chinese eatery inside Sigma Mall on […]
