I wrote this instrumental last night. I like the guitar tones I got.
True Love Will Never Fade
March 15th, 2008 · 2 Comments
True Love Will Never Fade is the first song on Knopfler’s new album, Kill To Get Crimson. Another love song, you’d think, professing eternal union.
I fixed a needle in a holder
Laid my hand upon your spine
And there upon your shoulder
I drew the picture as your sign
When I think about us
I see the picture that we […]

FireFox

Firefox is a pop-jazz instrumental piece that I wrote recently. Teasy, yet graceful. Edgy, yet tranquil. Stayed up late for a few nights to write and record this. This is heavily influenced by the works of Larry Carlton in spirit (not in performance :))

Here’s an instrumental […]

Sunday Evening Blues
November 26th, 2007 · 1 Comment
Somedays you keep on playing and nothing happens. On other nights, the guitar makes the sweetest sound your ears have ever heard. Today was one such magical night. I had never planned to play, leave alone record anything. But this happened.
If you are into blues guitars, you may want to check this out.
Draw this […]

Ruby
Started writing a distributed simulation in Ruby. And this is a great opportunity to learn a great language. One think I am liking about Ruby is that it gives you the opportunity to be terse without being cryptic (Perl). Don’t get me wrong, I love Perl and possibly the real-life implementation of this simulation is […]
